Retail and Mail Order Programs
 
SUNRx utilizes the services of four independently owned mail order pharmacies. Each pharmacy is strategically located throughout the Nation to provide prompt delivery of your patients' prescriptions. The SUNRx retail network consists of over 64,000 pharmacies nationwide including most chain pharmacies.

The SUNRx 90 Maintenance Medication Program consists of a network of over 40,000 pharmacies nationwide including all major chains, such as CVS®, Rite Aid®, Target® and Walgreens®, allowing members to receive their maintenance medications in 90 day supplies at their preferred retail store. This Program offers reduced prices similar to Mail Order with the added convenience of retail store dispensing.
Patients have a choice, in certain plans, to use our SUNRx 90 Program or have their medication delivered right to their front door through our mail order pharmacies.
 
When the appropriate medication has been selected for your patient, either program is a good option for them to consider. If the patient chooses mail order simply fax their prescriptions via our toll free number (800) 786 - 7550. You can also advise them to send it via mail.
 
Please Note: This program does not apply to all plan sponsors. You can prescribe up to a 90-day supply of maintenance medications at one time - plus 3 refills up to a year, as appropriate-which reduces the number of additional prescriptions required.
