March 17, 2020
Dear SUNRx Clients, Partners and Participants in the 340B Program,
Like all of you, SUNRx and our Parent company, MedImpact, are closely monitoring the latest developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are acting in accordance with the communications and directions from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal/state/local government guidance.
In addition, please be assured that we have rigorous business continuity plans in place at the enterprise level and within each department. Our teams are trained and practice preparations at least annually. Our plan includes specific protocols in the event of a "disaster," which would include a pandemic event. Please trust that we are regularly monitoring the situation and taking appropriate actions as needed.
In our effort to support our employees, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, all SUNRx employees have been directed to work remotely. We have infrastructure, procedures, data security and confidentiality protocols in place for team members to work from home. We have restricted non-essential travel and our employees are conducting meetings virtually. Critical staff that remain on-site will use social distancing from appropriately spaced workstations, with continuation of additional robust sanitation services provided by our Facilities staff. Although these are unusual times, we are committed to continuing the same level of account service you expect.
Companies everywhere are having to adapt to meet challenges as a result of the spread of the Coronavirus. However, I am particularly proud of the professionalism, expertise and commitment SUNRx employees have shown and are continuing to demonstrate. This is an evolving situation that will likely continue for some time, and I want to assure you that we are a partner you can count on.
We hope that each of you, your organizations, families and communities remain safe and well during this time. We thank you so much for the work that you do and the care and attention that you provide to your communities. It is in times like these where the true value and benefit of the 340B program shine.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please reach out to your Account Executive. We will continue to engage with you and will discuss any alternatives that are developed to assist you in providing the care you are bravely providing day in and day out.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Jill G. Simoes
